Not only Covid-19 vaccination status, NO mandate to share your ANY medical status.

Due to the refusal to provide a COVID-19 vaccination certificate, my son's college studies were terminated. My son and I filed a case in the Madras High Court and argued on our own and have obtained partial relief. Importantly, the court has agreed that an individual's vaccination status is their "sensitive personal information" and not mandatory to be shared with anyone.

We are planning to appeal soon as the single judge of the Madras High Court did not grant some key reliefs, including the requirement to follow the five-pronged proportionality test as established by the Supreme Court Constitution Bench in the Puttaswamy case for any restrictions imposed on fundamental rights.

I have shared the case documents and the Madras High Court order with you on this Google Drive.
